Railway Heritage Conference and 50th anniversary celebration in honor of museum railway activities in Finland
Heritage trains of the Jokioinen Museum Railway have been running on the narrow gauge railway in the municipalities of Humppila and Jokioinen for 50 years from 1971. This was also a start for Finnish heritage train traffic in the whole country.
To celebrate this The Museum Railway Society will arrange together with The Finnish Heritage Agency a conference of railway cultural heritage and a jubilee weekend. In the conference state heritage, railway and municipality authorities and museums will discuss the development and future of rail cultural heritage. The jubilee weekend is open for all public. A jubilee book will also be published.
