The Council of Europe has given a recommendation to the National Coordinators of the European Heritage Days to implement the Year of Rail as a sub-theme to the overall theme of Accessibility.
It can serve as a stepping stone to the theme of 2022, being Sustainable Heritage and Sustainability.
The National Coordinators are also encouraged to include all national actions into the calendar on the EYR website.
